NTT's B#9 Chorus

The NTT Group is connected by the Beethoven's ninth,
with a sense of unity that transcends time and space.

Bringing NTT to the world.

By having people all over the world see the people of the NTT Group singing the 9th singing together, the performers and viewers will be energized, courageous and happy.
"NTT's technology connects people", and
I would like to publicize that "NTT Group near you".

In addition, by holding a remote online concert using NTT Group's ICT technology,
Regardless of the location or size of the concert hall, performers and spectators gather and connect with people all over the world.
I would like to propose such a new concert style and realize a project that only NTT can do through the 9th.

With that in mind, the NTT Chorus planned this project.

Chorus, 9th, beginners are welcome.
Feel the power of music Let's liven up "NTT Ninth" together.

This "NTT Ninth" is a remote style that allows more participants to participate with peace of mind by reviewing the concert style in the conventional concert hall due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). We will carry out as a project of. We hope that many people from beginners to veterans will come together to create a single song, involve viewers from all over the world, experience the energy of music and be impressed, and experience new ways to enjoy music. I'm happy. We are also looking forward to the day when we can meet again with you on stage after Corona. (NTT Chorus Leader)

We are very grateful to all the people concerned for realizing the first "NTT Ninth" event. It is a deep song that even veterans who have sung "Ninth" many times (I am the second time) can find a task every time, and the chorus is about 20 minutes out of the total playing time of about 70 minutes. , I don't think you can usually experience the satisfaction and excitement of singing. Let's work with the participants to create a memorable "NTT Ninth". In addition, I would like to convey the energy of "NTT's Ninth" to the world and enliven this project so that those who watch it will be energized.

NTT Choir

Connecting "music" and "communication" is a song.

Established in 2000. A mixed chorus consisting of NTT Group employees, officers, alumni, OGs, dispatched employees, family acquaintances, etc.

Based on the concept of "harmonizing and interacting with people's voices through music, enjoying music and sharing emotions," we value connecting with many people through music, and pursue higher-level performances in our activities. It is working.

Until now, successive vice presidents of NTT Communications Corporation, Katsuya Okimi, Masayuki Nomura, Shinobu Umino, Jun Sawada (currently President and Representative Director of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation) have served as representatives, and since July 2018, Akira Shimada (2018) Since June 2003, he has been active under the leadership of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (Vice President and Representative Director). We are engaged in a wide range of activities, such as Christmas concerts, Tokyo Convenience Festivals, various volunteer concerts, and participation in events of NTT Group companies, and we are working on various projects that allow us to interact more actively through music.
